Invisalign Teeth Straightening

Straighten your teeth discretely with Invisilign

It is becoming more and more important in modern life to have an attractive smile. My patients would all like straight white teeth. The simplest way of straightening teeth is with Invisilign clear aligners, a fantastic way of moving teeth to give you a smile that you will be proud of. No matter what age you are, straightening your teeth can be life changing, with the confidence boost that comes with straight teeth and a beautiful smile.

Why Choose Invisalign?

  • Low visibility – no metal at all, hardly anyone will notice them
  • Removable – Invisalign can be removed for meals and special occasions
  • Healthy – as the aligners are not attached to your teeth they allow for normal brushing, meaning it’s easier to maintain oral health during treatment
  • Comfortable – no metal brackets or wires to irritate your gum or the inside of your mouth
  • Confidence – clear aligners and no metal brackets means you’ll smile more. You’ll feel more relaxed and less stressed and it’s been proven the more you smile the better your cardiovascular health.

The system has been used for many years and will treat nearly all crooked teeth. The aligners are clear and almost invisible, as opposed to other methods of straightening teeth which include fixed brackets and wires and Inman aligners.

Our adult patients are usually most concerned about their front teeth, sometimes just the upper or lower teeth, but usually both. It is your choice often as to whether we straighten the upper or the lower. Sometimes however, because space can be an issue when we want to align one set of teeth it necessarily involves moving the opposing teeth.

Digitally scanned dental impressions

Digitally scanned dental impressions

At LifeSmiles we have a scanner to take 3-D digital impressions of your teeth by scanning your mouth with a wand, eliminating the need to pack paste in your mouth to take impressions.

We now use a special scanner to build up a 3D image of your teeth and your bite. This takes about 10-15 minutes to do and is painless, like taking a video.

This scan is then sent online to the laboratory along with photographs of your smile and your teeth. This allows us to provide you with a simulation of what your teeth will look like when they have been straightened. If you like the predicted result, you give us the go-ahead and the aligners are made for you. The treatment usually takes between three and six months.

Scanning is quicker, cleaner, and more accurate than traditional impressions. If you choose Invisalign to straighten your teeth, then our scanner will make the process more pleasant.
